Allergens & Intolerances
As
I
work
from
my
home
kitchen,
I
handle
all
ingredients
and
allergens.
I
store
all
of
my
ingredients
in
the
same
cupboard
and
bake
my
cakes
in
the
same
tins.
I
cannot
therefore
provide
any
cakes
that
are
completely
free
of
allergens
and
cannot
guarantee
that
cross-contamination
has
not
taken
place.
Please
be
mindful
of
this
when ordering your cake.
I
do
have
a
number
of
flavours
that
I
can
bake
dairy
free
and
gluten
free
-
this
is
NOT
the
same
as
providing
a
gluten
free
(etc.)
cake.
It
is
simply
baked
using
gluten
free
ingredients.
I
cannot
cater
for
anyone
that
has
an
allergy
or
intolerance.
If
my
cakes
are
consumed
by
someone
who
has
a
food
allergy
or
intolerance,
they do so at their own risk.
Only
you
know
the
severity
of
your
own
food
allergy
or
intolerance
and
if
you
are
in
anyway
doubtful,
then
you
should
not
consume
any
of
my
cakes.
All
of
my
cakes
are
produced
in
a
kitchen
that
handles
the
following
allergens
:
Cereals
containing
Gluten
|
Eggs
|
Peanuts
|
Rice
|
Nuts
|
Celery | Mustard | Sesame

You
can

soon
as
you
have
your
wedding

with
your

It is never too early, but it can be too late!
My
order
book
is
currently
open
to
all
dates
up
to
the
end of 2026
What size cake should I order?
You
should
cater
for
about
80-90%
of
your
wedding
guests.
All
wedding
cakes
are
a
portioned
to
be
1”
x

x
5”
tall.
I

you

different
sizing
options

from,
with
their
corresponding

and

guide.
Which
size
you opt for will be entirely up to you.

Will you decorate a cake that I have
baked or bought elsewhere?
No, unfortunately not. I will only decorate a cake
that I have baked myself.
I am raising money for a charity, can
you offer/donate any cakes for free?
Unfortunately
not.
I
have
a
range
of
different
charities
that
are
personal
to
me
that
I
already
donate to when I can.
I’d like you to do my wedding cake, do
I have to pay a deposit?
Yes.
All
orders
are
confirmed
‘booked
in‘
on
receipt
of
a
£100
booking
fee.
Full
details
will
be
sent
with
your
order
form.
Unfortunately
you
do
not
have
an
order
with
me
until
this
booking
fee
has
been
received
-
regardless
of
how
many
times
we
have
emailed/discussed/met up regarding your cake.
Do you have any offers or discounts
throughout the year or if I pay in cash
I
do
not
offer
discounts
or
offers
on
my
cakes.
I
always
offer
the
best
price
to
all
clients
regardless
of
how they pay or who they are.
I am getting married over Xmas/NY,
can you do my wedding cake for me?
No,
unfortunately
not.
I
do
not
work
over
the
Christmas
and
New
Year
holidays
as
I
am
closed
for
the holiday season.
I would like a naked/semi-naked,
buttercream cake for my wedding, can
you do this?
No,
unfortunately
not.
I
only
work
with
ganache
and
fondant.
Buttercream/naked
cakes
are
well
known
for
melting/drying
out
over
the
course
of
the
day
and
are
unstable.
I
do
not
recommend
them
whatsoever
for
a
wedding cake.
We discussed our wedding cake with
you a while back but now you’re
saying you can’t do our cake. Why?
All
wedding
cake
orders
are
only
secured
once
a
booking
fee
of
£100
has
been
received.
Regardless
of
how
many
times
we
have
talked
or
emailed
each
other,
if
no
booking
fee
has
been
paid,
you
do
not
have
a
wedding
cake
order
with
me.
My
advice
is
always
to
book
your
wedding
cake
as
soon
as
you
know your wedding date.
Help! I had my wedding cake booked
with my friend/relative/other designer
and they’ve cancelled - can you do it
(short notice)?
All
wedding
cake
orders
are
taken
according
to
my
own
availability.
If
I
have
availability
for
your
date
I
can
do
your
cake
for
you.
Minimum
notice
is
7
days
for a wedding cake.
I have 100 people going to my wedding
and a £50 budget for the wedding cake.
Will you do my wedding cake?
Unfortunately
not.
All
of
my
wedding
cakes
start
at
£350
and
increase
depending
on
the
date,
design
and
size
required.
My
price
also
includes
delivery
and
setup
on
your
wedding
day
and
also
a
wedding
cake
taster
box.
It
is
best
to
create
a
more
realistic
budget
for
your
wedding
cake
or
perhaps
bake
your
own
cake to keep your costs down.
I’ve been quoted the same wedding
cake at a cheaper price with a different
wedding cake designer. Will you price
match?
No,
I
do
not
price
match.
My
price
is
based
on
my
experience,
quality
of
ingredients,
time,
effort
and
attention
to
detail
spent
on
each
and
every
cake
I
do.
Will you send progress shots of my
wedding cake when it is in production?
Unfortunately
not.
I
do
not
send
progress
shots
at
any
stage
in
the
production
process.
All
of
my
wedding
cakes
are
in
prep
for
many
days
before
your
wedding
day
and
only
finished
on
site
at
your
venue
ready
for
when
you
arrive
for
your
reception.
Seeing
your
wedding
cake
all
setup
at
your
venue
when you arrive adds to the excitement of the day
